i met my cdc today - he is a really nice guy and knows his stuff...very technical, which i prefer. we took intial weight/measurements and talked for a bit...and he had a very cool body analysis scale...well, i thought it was cool until he deciphered the info for me. now i'm thinking.....cool? not so much. *lol* no really, it was pretty neat to see my information. i have definitive numbers to work towards lowering (and raising *muscle mass*!), other than a weight number.
i have to wait to actually begin cd'ing due to medication/doctor's signature, so depending on how THAT goes, hopefully i'll start the 810 by the end of the month. in the mean time, i'm to begin a cd "preperation" week - up my water intake; lower my portion sizes, carbs, and fats; etc.... this is good, i'm thinking sort of low-fat/atkins-ish eating - i've had good success (but not lasting) with atkins, so i know i can do it for the short while.
so anyway, i've read through the "yellow book" and doctor's pamphlet, and i'm very optimistic with the information and the program over-all. YAY! i can't wait to start!
