Hi Everyone,

I have another 4 stones to go til goal. I have currently lost almost 3. I have just booked a wee break to Ireland for 5th August, and my new goal is to lost 2 stone by then. It has taken me 4 1/2 months to lose 3 stones. Does anyone think this is possible? I'm still not confident about my body and I want to be confident on this trip.

I've been eating 1000 cals a day and exercising when possible, any tips on how I can speed up this weight loss, im worried that the smaller I get the harder it will be!

Thanks guys!
:)

Hi,

I am in the same situation as you and would like to lose two stones before my hols... however I have just had a big think about it all and adjusted my target to one stone, if I'm going to do CC. I think you could do it on Cambridge diet, but I can't handle that diet it's too hard for me. So might be good idea for you to check out VLCD ?

Hope you get there though :)

Hi,

Thanks for the advice. I have been thinking for a while about doing CD or another VLCD, one main factor is that, I just cannot afford to be spending money on a diet, but I would possibly consider it if I got it free, only thing I would worry about is putting weight back on after its finished, I'm trying to see this as more of a life change.

Maybe I should drop my goal down to 1 stone or maybe 1 1/2 stone, I was kinda hoping that I wouldnt be going on any hols ect untill I've got to goal, as I tend to go back to old habits if I catch a glimpse of myself in a swimming costume, or in holday type situations when ppl are wearing less etc. But im just going to need to live with what I weigh when the time comes, and be grateful for the weight that I have lost rather than complain that im not at goal.

Thanks again for the advice.
