every pub has to offer WATER apparently its the law?? (Something to do wth drugs or something)

Anyway to your question no to diet coke as the citric acid in can affect you. No to soda water because of the sodium (i think) No to squash either I am afraid..
Some people get away with Coke zero, but as your question is what is allowed, the answer is nothing that isnt in your booklet....
You will be able to get water there though!
Fizzy water is acceptable but not soda water.

You can have water, sparkling or still, coffee and normal tea, and non-fruit herbal teas.

Diet coke has citric acid in that can knock you out of ketosis

No to diet coke but it was allowed last year when i started. I have one a day, when i come in from work and it is like nectar! It hasnt affected losses.

I had a couple sips of coke zero a week ago and felt really bloated after it. Even sparkling water bloats me. but apperantly the reason coke zero is contraversal is because the sugar subsitute in it is derived from sugar. so, just as we are not allowed the powder form of sugar substitute in our coffee or shakes etc..(only tablet form) the same principle applies. Some people get away with it though (wouldnt recommend it) because they are less sensitive to carbs. HMM

They don't have to sell water, but they do have to have drink quality tap water on request if anyone requires it.

Yes I knew there was something I knew they had to offer it.. Most pubs do sell water these days though as so many people do drink mineral water when out and about.

Just found this on the CD website

Allowable fluids:
  • Black tea or coffee,
  • Tap or bottled water, which can be still or sparkling, but should not contain fruit flavouring
  • Forbidden fluids:
  • Alcoholic beverages,
  • Milky tea or coffee,
  • Pure fruit juices and any drink containing sugar or calories.
(Note that so-called ‘zero drinks’ are often ‘zero added sugar’ and not ‘zero calorie’. They often contain some natural sugar and hence some calories too.)

Exactly what i was saying earlier!!! Good post

I had coke last time however some people find that it knocks them out of ketosis. I really dont miss it but am only on day 2 so maybe next week I might fancy one. I shall try and resist because I think the water helps your complextion as well coke has no beneficial qualties.
