Morning all.
Hi jess, Keeping busy makes things easier I think.

Im working till 2 then nothing planned for me. i think im babysitting for a friend tonight.

Scales have only dropped 2 lbs, i will wait till sat WI but looks like Im still having a stand still, no woosh for me Im afraid. Really upset because I could understand it if I was picking or bingeing, but im not, infact Im starving!!! oh well 2lbs isnt so bad with ss+ is suppose.Dont understand AT ALL!!!

Cd Ireland contacted me and said I start training on SAT to become a cdc!! YEAH!! Im an exception to the rule coz although I still have loads to lose, there arent any cdc's in my entire county and Im the only person doing CD. they were quite happy for me to start. In one way this plateau is teaching me how to stay strong and not give in which i hope to pass on to clients one day. But this forum has been the most valuable source of info so far!!!

Have a brill day everyone, sun is shining for me here in west ireland, make thing feel a bit better.

I will check in later!! Good luck to anyone having WI.

PS> MIA, how did you get on with WI last night? Arent you just sooooo jealous of curly???LOL>>> luv ya curly your fab

Morning all......

Morning guys! Sounds like you all have busy days lined up! Had a good first day yesterday, with loads of comments already at work- my trousers were just so baggy that by the end of the day they kept falling down! And they're elasticated!

Got me porridge and CD pack ready for work, blender in hand! It certainly won't be vegetable soup today- ugh, never again (shudder). Trying spicy tomato today- that hasto be an improvement, I'm sure.

Have a good day, everyone and we'll compare notes this evening^^ :D

Morning all,

Not had a great start to the day. Woke up to find a horrid message via pm on minimins. But hey ho.

Well I'm sat here with my porridge and litre bottle (I always try and have 1 litre before I go to work, because some days It'ss not possible to drink throughout work. So I start again when I get home!

I've had a funny week. I've been on a course with 'lunch provided' - a gorgeous buffet, so I have been doing some walking whilst having a tetra during my breaks.

I was furious on Tuesday. I had my shake in the fridge (place told to put lunches) it comes to lunchtime and someone had nabbed my tetra!!! I wrote on the board about it being a 'meal replacement' diet drink that is costly - £1.90 per shake. At the end of the day £2 had been celotaped to the whiteboard under my message with the words "oops sorry" ! lol Quite comical how people will steal things that aren't theres.

Have a good day everyone,

Hugs x x x

Morning all .Well done denise a loss is still a loss so dont beat yourself up about it, be pleased the scales are still moving in the right direction my dear. Ive lost .25 today and stayed the same yesterday and now just teetering over 12 stone so cant wait for the next number to come up will be patient and hopefully by weigh in next week will be 11 stone something. Have a good day all xxx

Hi Jess, Welland, Curly & Penguin! Everyone sounds in great shape today.

Welland, that is FAB news about the CDC training. A great way to keep you focused and brilliant for everyone in your area because they will have access to CD at last... yay!!!

Sun shining again... taking mum to town first thing for shopping, then after lunch will settle down to work... that's the plan, anyway! Hope everyone has a great day.

Oops... sorry, Emma & Julie, we cross-posted... hi to you too!

That made me laugh emma there are some strange people around!!!xxx

I know! :D lol

What got me was, I wouldn't mind if it was a frijj or yazoo (it could have been a genuine mistake) But it has 'cambridge diet' in bold blue letters on the front - I don't understand why anyone would want to take it. If it was me, i'd be worried what was in it, as it is a replacement diet drink.

I was more cross cos I was starving when I got home - me and hunger don't mix well!!! LMAO

Hugs x x x

Morning everyone, hope you all have a good day.
Had a bad day at work yesterday but person concerned is not in for next two days so bit of a weight lifted today.
I've not been sleeping too well last few days and i've going to bed early enough. TOTM arrived yesterday (week early - first time thats happened) and as usual heavy and painful but hopefully will be over quick.
Still 100% but not feeling any thinner, prob due to TOTM, did some chocolate baking last night which didnt bother me at all. Usually melted chocolate is too much too bare but not a bit passed my lips. Although i did have a treat of a diet coke.
I've been chewing a fair bit of chewing gum for my dry mouth so i hope thats not slowing things down.
It all works out in the end doesnt it.
Hope you are all well.
Mx

Molly, I drink a can of coke zero a day and chew gum throughout the day between clients at work. It doesn't efffect my losses. But then again everyone is different. It might be worth a mini personal challenge, and cut them out and see if your weight losses are any better?

Hugs x x x

WAG - Brilliant news on the CDC training, even more reason to stick in now!

Morning all......
Hope everyone has a good 100% day today, I am taking the boys to nursery soon then off to buy some more jeans I seem to be going through 2 pairs a month and then they are just hanging on me.

I can go off people you know.... ;) Just kidding, its a double edged sword but one I bet you are very happy with. Try Ebay - bet in your tiny sizes you'd get loads of stuff on there cheaply!

Morning all,

Not had a great start to the day. Woke up to find a horrid message via pm on minimins. But hey ho.

Oh no thats horrible via the PM. But good someone replaced your shake money.

In other news
I slept in through my alarm this morning so being a minger and going to uni without my morning shower (had one pre bed ) but still ugh.
Back down to 11st 11, which means got rid of the 1.5lbs put on during almost "week off". Feel V bloated though, am hopeful its hormonal.

Ah well off to argue human rights in relation to nursing at uni.

Katycakes, you were here when i tried a restart in the new year. You might remember my brother stays in Dumfries. You have had a fantastic weight loss, well done.

Hi guys, dont get me wrong, just to clear things up, normally i would be well happy with a 2lb loss but I have only lost 6 lbs in 3 weeks and 2 more makes 8lbs in a month. Most of that has been ss not +. So Im getting a little confused at this point really,10-12 lbs i could accept but.....? I will not give up!!!!! NO WAY!!! i may need to go to 810 and drop down again to ss just to shock my system back into it!!!Really down though and dont know what to do. dont want to be a negative, but where else can i go? I dont really have a cdc (per se) and am on my own with this(except for all the support here). So sorry, dont mean to be a downer for everyone......and for those who are in the early weeks, dont worry, this will not neccesarily happen to you.....

Chin up Welland, and maybe 810 would give you a kickstart? I found that when I stalled/plateaued for a while, moving UP rather than down did help. Our bodys way of trying to tell us something, who knows?!!!

Molly, I do remember you. I used to live in Fife myself, in a past life, in tayport. It was only for 6 months & i worked in Dundee back then, but I loved it. Galloway is lovely too, especially when the sun shines... I hardly ever get to Dumfries these days though, except to railway station to head of further afield... it's about an hour away. Anywya, hope sun is shining on you in the lovely kingdom of fife today!

I would be annoyed at 8lb in a month too so I sympathise. If you have been 100% and that is your loss and you are not like already at say 23bmi, then it might be worth a visit to the doctor and asking for a thyroid check. I mean you have lost such a lot of weight, so it obviously happens for you, but I know how you feel, you want to see 4lb or at least 3.5lb every week. I lost 3.5 in my weigh in, and I was a smidge disappointed as its only week two. If it drops again this week I will be fed up too, as I want that stone per month.

I think I must have lost my 4 stone very slowly then, because 8lbs in a month seems great to me!

Morning all, WI at 3 today so we'll see what my 810 week has done (and yesterdays, eh blip) going to drink lots today and start SS. Hope you all have great days today!

Sorry its such a quick note!

Katy- re-Dumfries- We're away to a wedding down in Castle Douglas in July, going to be staying in a B&B in Dalbeatie. & had a caravan holiday in Thornhill a couple of years back, loved it!

Morning people. WAG, I lost 4.25lb last night, my best ever. I am a slow loser and I have thought of packing in a few times as you know but no, keep plodding on!!

Everyone is doing so well, yes Curly has done particularly well so well done to everyone. It is an achievement in itself to even be on this diet, never mind lose loads of weight.

I am trying SS+ this week - dead scared becasue if my losses are c***on SS what they going to be like on SS+???? But, maybe it will kickstart my body into working again and maybe I will start having better losses. Would LOOOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEE to be at first goal for my hols, so need to lose 9.5lb by 9th July. Easy for some people - but not for me I'm afraid, not on my losses.

Here's to a good day everyone.

PS - I struggled a bit last night with food AND 3 shakes, any ideas how to get them all down?????

Hey everyone. Not feeling so hot today! Think I've picked up some kind of cold or something coming back. Maybe it's my body going into shock, went from 25-30 degrees to like 12 degrees, not good!! Was determined to stick to CD yesterday, but didn't really. I didn't eat anything else, but only had one porridge as I just really wasn't hungry. Maybe from being so tired as I didn't get home til 7am so was just extremely tired most of the day. Determined to stick to it and have all 4 meals today, and drink all my water. Need to get my holiday excess off!
