What diet are you planning on following and how much do you want to lose?
I can't help because I'm giving up following a specific diet as it's driving me mad (keep starving then bingeing), but I think most weight is lost on a meal replacement diet (e.g. Cambridge), with about a stone a month.
Or some people do very well with low calorie diets (e.g. sticking to under 1000kcal)
