not feeling positive

as some of you will know i gained 1lb in my first refeed week, it has knocked my confidence big time.

I know 1lb is 1lb and its probably water but ffs - i am eating less than 1000cals a day.

i am thinking of cutting out the carbs and just having salad and veggies for the rest of the week. I should cut out the yogurts and ww frozen desert, although they are low on the calorie front - i dont want to deprive myself too much though.

i am so scared of falling into the eating for comfort trap again, i am perilously close to the 10st mark and i so dont want to go there ever again.

ok i will shut up now - just wanted to vent

Oh dear - Sorry you're feeling like that Lisa, totally understandable though.

If I were you I'd carry on with a 'normal' refeed week for the rest of this week. I think that'll give you a better idea than starting to change things around at this early stage.
I know it's easy for me to say and I'll be bemoaning my own fate if I've gained tomorrow, but rationally this makes most sense to me.

You have my full permission to quote it all back at me tomorrow! xx

I know exactly how you feel. When I gained 1lb on my second week of refeed I lost it and became obbsessed. I think it's best you just refeed one more week. You don't have to cut out the WW stuff, I had WW fruit layered fromage freis with fruit a lot of the time and it didn't do any harm to me on my first week.

If you deprive yourself of things you want, you will eventually attack it and bing. Trust me, I know :(

Hi Lisa, I know it's easy for me to say, but try not to get depressed as your body is re-adjusting to eating again. Follow the refeeding programme for the full 2 weeks, I even made a detour...(had a mini-pot of hoummus and sweet pepper strips for lunch...doh!) you may find you lose some weight by the end of next week. Good luck.
