Don't be afraid to fail

KD

Gone fishing
I just found this

You’ve failed many times, although you may not remember.
You feel down the first time you tried to walk.
You almost drown the first time you tried to swim, dident you?
Did you hit the ball the first time you swung a bat?
Heavy hitters, the ones who hit the most home runs, also strike out a lot.
R.H macy failed seven times before her store in new york caught on.
English novelist john creasey got 753 rejection slips before he published 564 books.
Babe ruth struck out 1,330 times, but he also hit 714 home runs.
Don’t worry about failure.
Worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try.

I like that.

Someone has started a thread on another forum along the lines of "what would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?". I haven't responded because I don't want to sound like I'm being a smart arse but the answer is "I'd try something I knew there was a chance I'd fail at".

Thats an excellent post and so very true. Shame we all feel so pants when we do fail, rather than take it as a learning experience and brush ourselves off and get back on the wagon!
