Guilty About losing Weight

Sulleyp

The Minis Bad Boy
Morning y'all.

As you may know I have started LL again with all my reserve packs from last time with an emailf rom my LLC saying I can come abck when those are done. Though my scales only go up to 24 stone and I reckon I am around the 25.5 mark.

I am in a strange position. I had a good week-ish last week and could feel the weight coming off. But I saw my ex gf on saturday and she really upset me with her new life and man, etc. I will spare you the details.

And for that evening I ignored LL. I went on a bender with my 2 housemates dirnking alot fo whiskey and had a curry. I woke up sunday morning feeling awful in my head and in my stomach. And I was upset with myself for doing it. Jsut feeling sorry for myself wasnt a good enough excuse.

Anyway I put on my belt this morning and I am now down tot he 2nd slot for the first time in months.

But I feel guilty. Guilty that I drank and ate so much on saturday but have still dropped a belt size.

Perhaps it was the week of reletively good behavoir still mattering?

Take this as a very important experience in emotional response and your relationship with food. These are all crucial learning stages that we have all mostly gone through. This time because you were on LL you recognised your "binge" so to speak for what it was, and you know why it happened.
I suggest start today as a brand new day. Forgive yourself for yesterday's mishap and move on - but remember your feelings of yesterday, reasons for your actions, and feelings of today. We all went through a very steep learning curve and it is difficult... Perhaps start a blog and write down everything as you go along - I do find it is a very interesting tool for exploration.
Thinking you know why isn't enough... when we write things down we truly explore what we are feeling and admitting our own faults to ourselves.

Throw the guilt away, and start a-fresh. Yes, good behaviour always matters, don't throw in the towel over a silly mistake! We're only human after all. :)

Don't worry. Move on. Soon when you are slim and gorgeous your ex girlfriend msy feel like that when she bumps into you.
