switching from VLCD to low carb

Hi everyone, i'm new to the site so sorry if this is posted somewhere else and i've not been able to find it.

I've been doing LL for 2 weeks now and it's making me throw up everytime i have a shake or soup and i feel so weak its stopped me going to the gym. Plus i've found that my heart rate when doing anything is massively higher than it normally would be which worries me.

I've got my meeting tomorrow night where I wanna talk to my counsellor about whether I should continue or not but was just wondering how people find low carb diets for energy etc?

I love the gym and am going mad not being able to work out! Do people find that going to the gym is ok while on a low carb diet?

Also is there anyone who has switched from a VLCD to a low carb and how did they find the transition???

Many thanks for any help/advice.

Lori

I have been doing lipotrim over the last 18 months and I am well impressed with this low carbing way of life and I do seem to have bags of energy, and even though I have probably a stone still to loose I am really not in a rush as I am feeeling so happy on this plan and have just ordered the pig2twig books as I am keen to learn more as I already had the atkins book. Good luck with whatever you decided.:17729:

Hi Lori,

yes love, there are quite a few on this forum and the Atkins forum who have migrated from LT and CD, I'm sure you'll get a better response now the holiday weekend is over.
