Just wondering ( nosey rather ) wot u all have planned 4 ur summer hols. Wld luv 2 hear wot u've picked & why :character00255:
 
I've booked the middle 2 weeks in September off work, but I shall wait till the last minute to book. I think this year it will be Italy despite the exchange rate.

Good topic.
We are off to Cyprus at the end of July for 2 weeks - never been, last few years we have been to Zakynthos.
Have booked a villa as wanted something special as eldest son will be 17 and next year could be going away with his friends.
Realise it will be more expensive what with the euro rate and have heard that Cyprus is a bit more expensive than other european destinations?
Plan to eat out evry other night and BBQ on other nights.
9 weeks yesterday and counting.:p

Im off to Ibiza on Wednesday, Santa Eualia,Half board,so looking forward to it.Have been to San Antonio before but going with a large group this time and the Hotel will suit all sorts.Hope food is good if not happy to go to eat out.Plenty of Vino and lazy days on the beach.
 
Nothing planned apart from a trip to a local zoo for youngest to meet either Spiderman, Dora or Sportacus (he hasn't decided yet!) using our Tesco vouchers. Will do lots of local trips to free places as money VERY tight - and also have an eye appointment following op.
Nothing else planned YET.....money an issue so hoping for good weather.

Nothing this year - i was talking to OH last night and i asked him if he fancied booking somewhere, to which he replied 'sure we are getting married next year!' - its news to me!
 
i'm off to the french riveria on the 3rd july for 2 weeks. we normally go in september but my partner sprung it on me a few weeks ago that he wanted to go earlier this year. we stay with his Nan - who's italian and only speaks italian and french. we speak GCSE 'F' grade french - so it's interesting! lol

we'll be based in Villefranche, Nice. will be hiring a car for the entire holiday so we can go to Monaco and visit my partners italian relatives in San Remo and Ceriana.
 
we are going to Albania for 3 weeks and then to Turkey for 1 week in October (avoiding half term week!)
 
lol not much just 3 weekdays at a caravan in flamingo land with my fella daughter her hubby and my 2 grandkids theres a zoo and a theampark reasturaunts chippy and a pub/club all attached to the caravan park think its in yorkshire dont know whos looking forward to it more me or the kids like others money is a bit thight at the mo my fella got made redundant 7 months ago and im not too well at the moment so it will be good
 
Nowhere very exciting as we're off to Woolacombe for a week in August. However we have a fantastic apartment booked with 180 degree view of the sea. My older son likes surfing there and my younger son loves the sea. He has severe learning difficulties and we are very fortunate to be able to bring a carer on holiday with us. This means that we will actually feel like we've been away on holiday as we'll have breaks from caring. My older son would love to go abroad for a beach holiday but we can't face that much travelling with our younger son, especially by plane.
 
we are off to lanzarote at the end of august! we went for a week at easter and stayed in playa blanca and we loved it,so i decided to go back for 2 weeks in the summer!! euro exchange was 1.07 when we went at easter so anything above that is good for me!!
 
2 week med cruise in the first 2 weeks of july, i have resigned myself to going to the onboard gym every morning to try to work off the 24/7 dining that will be available and i am off to las vegas for 8 night in november.
 
We have nothing planned either, we have lived by the sea for the last 5 years and have only had one holiday in that time. we went to Malta in 2006, we are lucky to be able to see the sea every day.
 
All sounds great. Henna we were in Playa Blanca in Jan this year for 1 week stayed at Sun Tropical. Weather wasn't that great but still had fab time. Fatbunny - I do fancy a cruise but with 2 young kids not sure.
We are off 2 Morocco late July which I am really looking forward to. U cld be anywhere in the world when the weather is being kind to us here in Scotland ( not that that happens very often !! )
I hav a friend who has pictures cut out of a Next catalogue of models in bikinis stuck inside her fridge, food cupboard etc anywhere there is food to remind her that holidays aren't far away !!!
 
We had a very wet fortnight in Lanzarote in Feb, so we've booked another holiday in our quest for sunshine. Off to Ibiza 13th June, so not long now! Staying half board, so hopefully we won't have to spend too many Euros!
 
We are off to Dorset camping on an organic farm which is just open for camping in August. It has a private beach and beautiful sea views. I hope it will be as nice as the camping weekend we have just had over the BH. As mentioned by others money is tight camping is cheep and we then spend the cash we have saved on nice sw friendly food (and not so friendly drink!)

maisy that was where we stayed! we loved the resort so quiet but we were not a fan of the very long walk to town each night! we have gone for Flamigo playa beach with thomson which is by the harbour right by the beach! cant wait now i bought a count down at class this week and worked out it is only 12 weeks away! so my countdown runs right up to the week i go!! just need to get to target now!
 
We've already had our main holiday this year. We tend to go Feb/March time when the weather is horrid here!! We went to Kenya on safari....and lovely it was too! I hate going away in the Summer and missing any nice weather that we may have here!!
We have another fortnight booked in Spain for the first 2 weeks in September. My brother has a house there, way up in the mountains, just outside a Spanish village, its lovely and its a real chill out holiday.
Had a long weekend in Germany last week too....I love holidays!

We had the back gate pass which saved an even longer walk when the blooming thing worked !!! I loved the walk down except for the kids moaning about it ;)
