Sorry for the title of the thread but i just wondered if anyone has found the same?
Things just haven't been right since starting xenical. Was expecting the side effects and got the opposite.
About to eat a ton of prunes to see if that does any good.

nope not me! lol,
i love prunes though, wish i had the nerve to eat them at the moment,:giggle:

I have to admit that Xenical has changed my *coughs* toilet habits.
I've upped the fibre in my diet and it's been a lot better.

I have been a little bit constipated too, try and drink lots and lots of water, should help get things moving, so to speak! xxx

Kate, I have had this a lot since i started. I even had a colonic which I thought would help!!

Veg soup daily definately worked but after 10 days I had enough!

I do drink about 3ltr water a day which is plenty but i think as my number 2's are much smaller than they used to be perhaps I dont need to go as often as i do (i am eating less than half the portion sizes i used to)

The lady at the colonic said I was eating too much fibre (sultana bran and all bran together) and that It had formed a bulk in my tummy because it took so long to break down.

I think we are all different, prunes dont work for me, i eat my 5 a day everyday but i still struggle.

Ho hum, still losing weight tho !

Good to know it doesn't affect your weight loss julie - I have to say I thought it would hinder mine coming off too but so far so good.
I drink loads of water - about 3 litres a day, mainly during work though so maybe i need to up my intake in the evenings. Am afraid I'll turn into an old woman waking up to pee all night though!
I'll keep an eye on the fibre intake. Prunes didn't work so I guess I just gotta live with it. As long as the weight keeps coming off then I'm happy.
