How do you make yours!

Gemma1986

Im just me!
How do you all make your sw quiche?

I use 3 eggs, small tub of VLF cottage cheese, chopped onion, pepper and tomato and then add either:

A made up packet of Batchelors pasta in sauce (cheese and broccoli is my fave) or

A tin of tuna and some chopped ham or cooked bacon.

Mix it all together and I always top with a tsp of grated parmesan and some sliced cherry toms. Yum Yum!

Oh and then I bake it at 190 for about 20-30 mins.

I get a packet of Ainsleys Mediterranean cous cous, make it up as directed and using the back of a spoon, press it into a flan dish and bake in oven for 10-15 mins.
Mix 3 eggs with some fromage frais and 56g cheese (saving a little to sprinkle on the top), dry fry some onions and bacon and spread onto cous cous base, pour egg mixture on, sprinkle remaining cheese and place some sliced toms on top and sprinkle a little dry herbs and bake for 15-20mins or until set and cheese is browned.

We're having this today btw with a j/pot and some baked beans.:)

If you do a search in the recipe section you'll find a multitude of variations to try. It's really flexible in that you can adapt it to green/red by changing the ingredients and it's a great way of using up leftovers.

Ninja - yours sound lovely!! I will make this. Does the base stay crispy or does it break up when you slice it?

Thanks, great ideas!

Okay, I've just taken this out of the oven and eaten a slice and it was wonderful!!! I made it with 3 eggs and my left over quark/cheese/onion mix and some chopped tomatoes.

Another reason why I love this forum!
