2 stone in 6 weeks

I'm so pleased and can hardly believe it when I think about it, but I've lost 2 stone in 6 weeks.:D

This week I only lost 2lbs which I'm surprised about as I was quite ill for 2 days and on the toilet a fair bit (TMI sorry).

However, I haven't been drinking as much water as I normally do, about half the amount in fact. Lesson learnt...increase water this week.

Still it's an amazing diet, and I feel like a different person. I was feeling a bit fed up last night, but this has spurred me on. I no longer feel really self conscious and like people are looking at me for being fat!

Thanks for listening :)

Hi Watergirl, That's absolutely amazing! I bet you feel brilliant. Interesting about the water too. I struggle to drink my 4th pint every day. Think I'll up it a bit. Well done, anyway

Well done Liz!! That's fantastic, like you said it's an amazing diet. Hard work, but what other diet gives those kinds of results?! x

Congratulations! Well done! I also love this diet!

Thanks guys :)
You're right Caroline, there isn't any other diet that can do this is there?
It is interesting about the water. I love water and normally guzzle loads. I've been really busy at work though (where I'd normally do 2 ltrs) and not even finishing a 2ltr bottle. Normally I have 2 ltrs at work and then about another 2 at home in the morning and evening. Not saying we need that much, but I feel thirsty and have it, except for last week.

WOW that is FANTASTIC indeed. Well done you, reading those kind of threads keep me buzzing, and I am sooo inspired to keep going thank you :D

well done watergirl great result....
Someone told me that when you are ill, you can often retain a bit of water as your body compensates so it might be a bit fot hyat as well as you not having your usual water.
I always struggle with my water, but always have the minimum, but my losses don't seem to have suffered thus far (fingers crossed)

xx

Well done, that really is amazing!! Hope you feel better now and have another brill week x

Amazing losses Liz, you're going to be bikini ready in no time. You're probably right about not getting enough water down, you'd have needed more than usual if you had an upset tum as diarrhea can make you dehydrated. You need to replace the fluid, salts and minerals you lose with more water. Anyway, lesson learnt, still a good loss and a brilliant overall total! Well done!

Have been on the CD for almost 2 weeks. First week, lost 8lb and think i've only lost 2 this week, but have WI tonight. Would like some suppot as did post on another forum, but there was only 2 of us left, lol.. Thinking about doing SS+ as my weight loss has slowed down, but not sure.. Any thoughts out there?

Are you drinking plenty of water?? From looking at other peoples losses it looks like it fluctuates so one week its lower and the next its higher, dont feel upset by it, anything is something.

Thx Victoria

Hope that's the case. I do drink a lot of water, a glass (half pint) as soon as I wake and same after first shake. Then carry a pint with me in the morning, and afternoon so sip and guzzle inbetween then and lunch and then as above with my lunch and tea.. So pretty much drink at least 5 pints of water a day, plus hot drinks (black tea, coffee and peppermint tea). Have been a bit bunged up this week though.

But as you said something is better then nothing, just feels such an extreme way to diet for loosing 2lb a week I suppose, if it slows down to that

Awesome Watergirl!!! I'm hoping to hit 2 stones down in my 6th week too. Fingers crossed, and yay for getting into overweight too, I'm right behind you, and should hit that next week as well.

Try and drink a bit more water that might help, i have to drink 6 litres a day recommended by my CDC with my height and weight, but our bodies need two litres a day before this diet, hope that helps xx

Thank you everyone :)

Tilly that would make sense because my waist is showing an addition of half an inch.
Feeling much better thanks Leah.

Go Hannah! I'll be keeping an eye on you now lol. Nice to have someone at the same sort of place.

well done liz x x
