Having a struggle

For some reason I'm having a tough time with CD this week. I'm finding it hard to get the water down and really craving food badly.
I'm off work now for 10 days and this will hopefully make things a bit easier (as I won't be tempted by the things put in front of me at work) but I'm just really upset by my apparent lack of willpower.
Even if I eat something I don't feel guilty afterwards, I somehow convince myself I deserve it because of my hard work so far!
Help! Any psychiatrists on here???!!!
:(

I dont know if this helps at all, but when i get a little low, thinking of how long i have to go, i think about how much a want it, how much i want to get slim, so so much its such a short time frame in the big picture, and the quicker i get there the quicker i get to enjoy my new life as a healthy slim normal person. You have done well the reward is seen on your scales, and how loose your clothes feel, I hope you can put these thoughts to bed and try to focus on what you want to get too, enjoy you time off and hopefully it will give you time to get back in the zone.

Keep your chin up, Jen. I think we'll all have little rough patches along the way (weigh!) and we need to recognise them and face them head on. Well done for posting about how you're feeling - it's the best way to go.

Your willpower is strong - you wouldn't have chosen to do such a radical diet as CD if you didn't think you had the stamina for it. But wavering is human and getting through a blip makes us stronger. Well, that's what the books say anyway! :D

And as for not feeling guilty - that's a good thing!!!! But, like lots of us here, the trick is to find something that doesn't use food as a reward. We're conditioned in our society to use food, so it's a hard habit to break, but I think it's one of the keys to being successful both physically and mentally with CD. And, for us girlies, non-related food rewards usually mean pampering of some description, so it's win-win! lol

Stick at it Jen - you deserve to be the woman you want to be! And we're going to cheer when you unveil her!

You're welcome chick. Anytime :) x

Sweetie think of your fabby holiday, how fabulous will you feel for the entire duartion without carrying those extra pounds? when you think you probably got big over a period of a few years and that it might only take less than a year to undo this, that should be a hell of an incentive for you. Smile and chin up, you will soon be where Lin is now. Hugs Monica xx

Thanks Monica, I've got 50 days tomorrow until hols so going to go for 100% until then!
I can do it! I can!
