Hi guys, fantastic forum you have here.

Just thought I'd drop you a line. Im new to the forum but not new to Atkins. I have done it twice before but due to a number of factors found it very difficult to stay on.

Well this time round I intend to stick with it and make it a WOL and not a "diet".

I began yet another low cal diet just over 3 weeks ago and lost 8lb in the first week and then nothing in the second and I just craved all the things that I'd be abole to have on the Atkins so I made the jump on Saturday.

Ive got a fridge and freezer full of meat and veg (got to love asda deliveries as it stops me sneaking bad stuff in the trolley) and so far so good.

I'm on day 5 and not in Ketosis yet but I'm hopeful Ill be there by the end of the week.

Well thats me, I'm off to scour this forum for some more yummy recipe ideas.

Hi Boogaloo
:welcome:
I have done atkins before too and never got on with it, but I really researched it this time, especially recipes and getting ideas from here, and it is working a treat and I am loving it.
see you around

Hi boogaloo and welcome to the Atkins forum. Good luck and stick with us.

Hi Boogaloo - hope it work so for you this time around - you sound really motivated! Pork scratchings or whipped cream sprinkled with Splenda keep my cravings at bay - depending on my mood ;-D

pork scratchings are my godsend lol, i don't seem to get sweet cravings as such (altho i've got a sugar free jelly wobbling away in the fridge!) but savoury wise, my scratchings are indispensible.

Hiya!

Welcome to the board :)
