Hello one and all

I was just wondering how the amount of water you drink can affect the amount of weight you lose? I'm one of these people that needs to know the in and outs of everything, (I don't mean water goes in.. weeee all know what comes out)

As far as I am aware, the large volume of water needed is for - To compensate for the lack of water we would usually be ingesting in food, - To help the liver (or is it kidneys? ) with getting rid of ketones - to aid with the absorption of minerals.

how would increasing the amount of water intake, say 6 litres as apposed to 4 actually speed up weightloss?

(correct me if this isn't true  )

thank you soooo much

Sorry, I forgot to add - Is sparkling water ok? should it be restricted to a certain amount?

My oh is forever telling me drinking carbonated drinks strip calcium from the body, I have no idea how much truth (if any) there is in that.

Though I've just found sparkling water is a nice refreshing change from the old plain variety.. please don't let it be naughty lol
