I did it!

I have collar bones!
last night, I finally realised that I'm bouncing the same 2 or 3 pounds around, and have done since Christmas, so I reset my target.

I'm happy at 9 stone - I'm size 10/12, so clothes fit me better.

I've set my target to 9 stone - I'm 8 st 13. so I am officially AT TARGET!

yeah, that's what I finally figured out, Jay. My consultant was as relieved as I was last night! She wondered when we would be having that conversation.
 
Well done! I used to weigh around 9 stone, and that was a great weight for me, too. I've set my 'in my head' target a couple of pounds lower than that but I know I'll be much happier about my body when I'm back down there again.
Sounds like a really good decision. Congratulations on that and on your loss! :happy096:
 
Well done - it can sometimes be a really hard decision to know when to stop, but you feel great, and it sounds like you will be able to maintain this weight!

You've lost loads - you should be so chuffed with yourself. I think you made a good decision to alter your target slightly. Actually, you've given me some food for thought (excuse the punn). I am currently 1.5 lbs from my target, and have been driving myself crazy the last few weeks, trying to shift the last bit of weight. After reading your post, I realised maybe it doesn't actually matter if I am exactly 9 stone. Maybe 9 stone 1 or 2 is just fine.

I've decided to try and chill out a bit about the whole 'target' thing. I will stick to the SW plan as usual and if that 1.5lbs come off fine, and if it doesn't that's fine too. Thanks for the inspiration! xx
 
I hit the target I chose for myself this week but had already decided that if I hadn't, and still had a pound or so on, I wasn't going to sweat it. (Saying that, i want to lose another 3lbs now!) You're so wise to have come to that decision. Chasing that final pound would have driven you crazy.

Well done on reaching goal!
