hi everyone, well thought i was doin well this week and have stuck to plan and used my syns weekly, but i stood on my bathroom scales this mornin and ive 3lb on how can this be:confused:i feel like cryin

Is it totm? Are you constipated? Don't lose heart, it's just a blip. I know it's annoying when that happens, but I'm sure you'll have a good week next week. Are you keeping a food diary?

Don't panic! Weight changes day by day, in fact probably hour by hour. Sometimes you might be retaining water a bit, or something else... I mean we've all had times when we felt bloated etc. The main thing is, you're sticking to the plan and that means you'll lose weight overall.

Daily trips to the scales are a bad idea btw, they'll only freak you out. Try to wait until WI day to find out how you are doing. And always get weighed in, because that's a chance to review your diet/progress with your consultant.

Gaining truly sucks but not going to SW because you are having a bad week will only result in you giving up. Plus, if you stick at it and face any setbacks, you'll be an inspiration to other people in your class, who might face the same issues in the future.

thanks scarlett, im hopin my scales are wrong!! cuz iv been at gym twice this week and been stickin to plan!! uv made me feel better thanks :) gonna stick to it, i have to :) girls in my office all eatins scones :( and theres me with alpen light :D

Don't panic too much - your scales might give a different result to the SW scales anyway. Once I moved my scales onto a rug, weighed myself, and they showed I put on 7 pounds! Had a huge panic till one of my friends told me to put them back were they were on the hard bathroom floor and thankfully it was normal again.
Moral of the story is - scales lie! And you fluctuate a lot too. Only way to do it is weigh once a week, at exactly the same time in the same place. Ie. go to the meeting! :D
Good luck. and well done for resisting the scones!

Hi

Best thing stick to scales at SW and don't bother with WI at home (especially in between sessions ) scales can be pounds in difference.
