reassurance needed please

Hi Everyone over here in maintainance.

I am reading all your posts and feeling encouraged about my maintainance. However, as Mrs Lampard said in her thread, I am feeling like im being naughty on the 1000 plan even though following the book. I have even been on the scales and it says I have put on 2lbs. I am now panicking and thinking i should go back on SS or something. I know im being stupid but please reassure me I will still lose weight on this plan.

You will still loose weight :) It's probably glycogen due to eating carbs again and your body getting a bit of a calorieshock too (from 810 to 1000.. ah well! ;-)), please don't worry about it... Keep going and it'll come off again. Promise!

Hi Aloize, try to relax and enjoy the 1000 plan, you will gain some glycogen and water weight but this will settle down again also 1000 is still low calorie so this will even it out eventually. It can feel strange eating again after being on SS for a time but you are doing it the right way and this is will help you for maintenance,
Well done on your losses so far! Keep up the great work!

I put on 1lb during my first week of 1000 (following the plan) but lost 3lb the week after (still doing the same thing as the first week i.e. 1000 cals with carbs) so as everyone else has said don't panic even if the scales do show a gain as it's impossible to put on genuine weight whilst on so few calories.

Im feeling a lot better today. I am just going to follow the plan and believe it works (hey its worked so far). I think I was just a bit panicked when I got on the scales (will have to stop weighing myself).
Today I went out at lunch and tried on loads of pairs of jeans and bought 2 in size 12!!!!!!!!!!!! (well they were in the sale). This has renewed my confidence. Just need my brain to catch up with my body now as I still feel 'fat' in my head.
