Week 2

Hi all went to WI last night and lost just 2lbs, was a little disappointment, no to be honest I was gutted so much so that I cried when I got home as I stuck to it 100% and OH had cheated and lost 6.5lb. I think I was more upset that he had lost so much and cheated than I was with just the 2lbs part. So I continued to have a small chicken and bacon salad at 280cals and didn't have 1 shake. I know I shouldn't comfort eat, but I find if I have a small salad after WI food doesn't bother me at all for the rest of the week. So this week I am trying not to have any bars and just have 3 packets and to go gymophobics 3 times this week. To see if this helps. So fingers crossed for a better loss this week. :)

Hey Claire.
hon, dont be disappointed 2 lbs is still a great loss... 12 1/2 pounds in two weeks is fantastic.. I can understand you feeling upset as your O/h lost more and didnt stick to it. but men always loose it quicker.. its just one of those things..Has he more to lose than you?

My brother and I started the cambridge diet 13 weeks ago. he started 2 days after me.. I have lost nearly 3 1/2 stone and he has lost over 5 stone.. We have both been 100%... (just an example hon)..

So chin up dont binge to comfort eat hon its not worth it. It will come off next week.. Take a look at my losses below some weeks I have lost 2 pounds and other weeks 5 pounds...

Keep your chin up hon your doing fab xxx

Ps.. I just looked through my losses and lost 12 1/2 in two weeks too and then have gone on to lose lots more.. x

My weight losses tend to fall like so - big loss week, little loss week, so I think it's just our body's way of adjusting to the changes. As Curlywurly says 12.5lbs in two weeks (that is nearly a stone) is fabulous! So focus on the good, keep your head down and next weigh in will be fabulous.

Well done you x

hey hon. it's quite usual to have a low loss in the second week after a first week's huge loss. i've only lost 10lbs in four weeks and i've been doing ss. so keep at it!!

and don't compare yourself to hubby. he will lose much faster being male. it's one of the incredible irritations of dieting with men in general but it's even worse on cd. and if he keeps cheating it will soon catch up with him.

abz xx

Thanks all for your responses and support, I know I shouldn't compare myself, but it's hard.
Hopefully this week will be a big loss and I bet that will be the pattern that my body takes. O well at least it's all in the right direction :)

Wow, 12 lbs over 2 weeks is fantastic - I lost 5lbs the first week so I need to lose 7 this week even to match your loss (however I know we should not 'keep score' as everyone will lose differently) Go and feel a 2lb bag of sugar - you lost that this week!

That's true 2lb of sugar is heavy, should really think about it a bit more like that thank you x
