Cycling, bit worried I am too heavy!!??

I don't know much about bikes, so can't answer that question, but just wanted to say good for you for joining SW and starting your journey. Think positive! :D

I would go to a bike shop and get some advice, then they could advise you, but I'm sure you'll be able to get one.And well done for getting exercising.

I have one by V-fit that exercises your arms as well. It's really comfortable and I find it easy yet effective... My mum is heavier than you and uses it without an issue!

Mine did mine automatically when I filled in all my statistics. Go to your userCP and play about there for a while. I'm sure you'll find out how to do it :)

What sort of bike are u thinking of???? push bikes are good, you may notice u get a sore bum you will need a good comfortable seat, Ive tried various and the ones with the cut out hole in the seat really comfy and takes the pressure off when your sat on it. As for an exercise bike I dont have one but I have a eleptical trainer which is one you work your arms and legs but dont sit on, but mostly it collects clothes rather than me using it.

I had an exercise bike in my shed for years. For me, it's the most boring thing in the world. Eventually gave it away on freeserve.
I now have a proper bike and I pretty much go out on it whenever I get a chance. Not for commuting or for actually going on journeys, just using the bike because it's so enjoyable.
My targets are modest, very modest compared to a serious cyclist, but I find doing 5 or 6 miles relatively simple. To give you some perspective on that, a friend who hadn't been on a bike for years came with me and did a 6 mile run with no problem. He had to work, but he got it done.
Today I did 7 miles and I feel better for it. I know I've done some work.

Get a real bike and get out into the fresh air.

Good for you girl, good luck. I can't ride a bike but I'm having my first cycling lesson next Friday - very excited.

I only use the bikes at the gym because I cant actually ride a proper bike.
I love it even though it does hurt my butt a little bit!
Well done on deciding to start cycling,I hope it goes well for you.
