Wants to be a yummy mummy
I had a baby 11 months ago, I had a very difficult pregnancy and, being bed bound for the second half, sat and comfort ate meaning I put on so much more weight than I should have done.. I haven't been able to lose weight since she was born as if I have started to lose weight my milk supply just goes and she loses weight.. She's not having many breastfeeds a day now but she is still feeding a reasonable amount at night so I can't do anything to quick in terms of weight loss..

Would Slimming world work for me? I don't really want to stay this weight for ever..

SW is a fantastic diet and really does give great results. You don't starve and weigh everything and I'm sure it would fit in with your life as a busy Mum!

As for your daughter Jocelyn (she's beatiful by the way! :)), no doubt you'll be moving her on to cows milk soon enough anyway as she's coming up for year. So go for it and do something for you!

Hope to see you around and looking forward to seeing your results if you decide to join :):)

Sw is approved by the council of midwives, so it will be perfect for you. I'm sure it's tailored for breast feeding mums as there is a special booklet, tho I'm sure someone will know. You could find out your local leader and ask her over the phone, or by email. You eat ordinary food, and you'll get loads of support, and by the time your gorgeous baby is fully weaned you'll be a lovely slim mum! Good luck! Come and join us, you'll never regret it!

Keep on breastfeeding for as long as you like, you can do SW, your consultant will advise you. well done with your successful breastfeeding x

Thanks all! I'm quite happy feeding her until she's 2 (which is what the World Health Organisation recommends) so that's great to know I could carry on while on slimming world!

Thanks guys.. Hubby and I have done some chatting over the last 24 hours and we've decided I'm going to start weaning jocelyn with an aim to stopping by the end of the month, she'll be over 12 months then and I'll start Cambridge again on the 1st June. Thank you so much for answering me though!

That's great that you have came to a decision that you're happy with. Even though you're going to CW you should pop back and let us know how it's going.

Best of luck hun :) xx
