Hi everyone:),
I'm doing some research, looking for suggestions, advice. What is SW? I'd like to get some advice from someone about an idea I have to lose an extra 7-10 kg. What works for you?

Hi!

SW stands for Slimming World. From what I remember there are 2 main diets - a red diet and a green diet.

On both diets you can have unlimited healthy veg with a few exceptions, low fat quorn, eggs and fat free yoghurt.

On the red diet, you are also allowed unlimited meat and fish as long as all the fat is cut off and its cooked in a healthy way. The catch is you can't have starchy foods like potatoes, rice, pasta without counting them as one of your 'healthy extra A or B' choices (often called HexA or HexB on forums)

The green plan is the opposite, you get unlimited pasta, rice, potatoes, but limited meat as one of your Hex B's.

Bread is always limited, and you have a set number of 'syns' to use each day on treats. You get 10-15 syns a day, which can be used on things like hot chocolate, crisps, sweets.

It's great if you're a non-stop snacker who likes to eat between meals, but it can get a bit dull eating the same types of free foods all the time.

There's also a combination of the two diets which I can't remember much about, called Extra Easy.
