Water Baby
Hi everyone,

I get weighed at LL every Tuesday. Have been on my scales tonight even tho i shouldn't have, i now think i have lost no weight and feel like eating some fried rice that i cooked for my family. I thought i'd log on to you guys instead as a distraction. :sigh:

I keep reminding myself how well i have done and it will all be worth it in the end.

Will let you all know how i get on on Tue. Good luck to you all.

Dawn dont dispair i thought id only lost 8lbs on my scales after my first week cdss but when i got to my cdc her scales said id lost 15lb, at least if you dont go off the rails when you go on tuesday you know you have been good, dont eat that rice you will feel awful if you do. You can do it dawn not long till tuesday then you will see it was worth it when you step on them scales x

Hi Dawn,

Get off the scales:)

If you are doing your diet 100% then your weight will come off.

If your going to get upset by weighing yourself then your best to leave it for your consellor as your only going to sabotage your diet.

The old chatter box can lead you down the path of no return....

Water weighs very heavy and one litre of water is 2.2lbs. or 1 kilogram.

So if your drinking at least four pints plus what you use to mix your packets, the water weight can work out very heavy and it will fluctuate through out the day.

Thanks for the support guys, just being on this site has helped tremendously.

Well got weighed tonight and lost another 3.7lb. That makes just over 21 in four weeks, i am chuffed. My hubby is starting to become insecure again, he is so transparant, every time i lose weight he starts with little digs. Well this time he can ....... cos im doing this for me and i will have the confidence to change my life. If he wants to stay on the same path that's up to him. Watch this space!!

Congrats' Dawn on losing 21lbs. in four weeks that is fantastic and wonderful motivation.

This weight loss journey has to be about ourselves and I am sure your husband would want you to be healthy and happy.

It is very common for men to feel threatened when their partners begin to lose weight as they do fear we might go off and leave them:rolleyes: It can be a self fulfilling prophecy if they think like that:p

My husband joined me in my diet and he only had to lose about a stone and a half and looks great now, but a little bit of competition is good.

Never thought I would see the day that he would be enjoying cooking for himself...even does housework:eek:

He now is very proud of his own success and is great encouragement for me as well.:)

This diet is transformational in so many ways.

hiya Dawn, hubbys are notorious for insecurity, lots of love from you and it will be ok, I can remember when my DH had his teeth done, he didnt have many adult teeth from a genetic problem, I was so scared that all of a sudden he would find a skinner model and leave me, I needed a lot of reassurance and that is probably what he needs too.

Just dont ever lose focus that its for you, that was my main aim x

Well done - that's a stone and a half in 4 weeks - brilliant.

You are quite right to do the diet for yourself - and if you reassure him you'll still love him when you are a skinny mini and remind him he's getting a newer improved Dawn!!

Hey guys,

thanks for all the supportive comments it's great to know people are out there to listen. He is a bit better now and has started giving me kisses and cuddles very strange but nice!!

xx

Well i've been a busy bee today, i got two big boxes of clothes out of the garage where they have been stored for a while!! Some of them actually fit which was a nice surprise, the rest i have strategically placed to allow me to try them on now and again to keep my spirits up.

I would reccoment this to anyone if they need a new boost.

xx

Good for you sweetie.Onwards and downwards eh?! :)

I think it's a good decision as they are the same manufacturer and if you are getting the support that you need from minimins, that will help you. And (apparently) there is way more choice on CD, but I've never done LL.

Good Luck - and that £30 extra a week is £120 a month more that you can spend on clothes (or sensible things):D

Thanks Lottie for all your support, it means alot. I am already looking through my next catalogue!! oh dear. I did sort out loads of clothes from over five years ago so hopefully some may still be fashionable and even if they're not as long as i feel good eh.

Hope you reach your goal soon hon and hope everything is good with you.

LOL, yes I sorted out a load of clothes from my wardrobe that I'd neatly filed in size order in storage boxes and when I went through them, I had to chuck quite a few bits out! There were lots of those high waisted jeans that make you look like your bum is bigger than it really is. I never thought that the fashion of jeans would change so much!!!

It's hard not buying too much actually, I tend to shop in the sales as I'm hoping that I won't be this size for long. But, I had a great treat just before my holiday, Punkass from on here gave me a load of clothes that no longer fitted her and they were all monsoon, per una and coast - really gorgeous!! I was well happy.

Chat soon, got to get ready xxx

Having a bad day today, suffering with TOTM. I am seriously considering seeing the doctor tomorrow if things don't get any better. I feel a weak as a kitten. Have done some research and it may well be the coil i had fitted which is causing heavy bleeding and three times in one month!! It can also be changes in hormones due to VLCD so i am giving it a little time.

Having a day off today from packs but am trying not to go overboard.
Had:-
2 babybell
1 muller vitality
a couple bits of chicken

Am full at mo and still drinking the swimmingpool of water so hope it wont affect things too much.

Cannot be bothered to tackle the dining room full of ironing!! my daughter has booked me to do fun things with her monday tue and thurs as i am off work so i will be buzzing around all the time keeping my mind off the dreaded food.

Starting CD on tuesday as cancelled LL so watch this space.

Good luck everyone.

Hey Dawn

Definately do to the Dr, u'll feel totally drained ssing and bleeding so heavily. If the dr says it's just the coil, maybe 790 would be better as u will need more calories for the blood loss and to stop u from feeling so drained, and then when it settles u can move to ssing again.

Hope u feel better soon!

Much love, chelle xx

Thanks for the advice hon, think i might just go back to bed now as hubby put football on, really considerate eh. He is concerned about me but said he doesn't want to hear all the gory details poor soul it must be so hard for him! Thank god we didn't have to rely on him to have a baby eh. he he I will read one of the james Patterson books i accidentally ordered and now have 20 months or so to pay for (oh dear). Might even take my daughters laptop up and talk to you guys for a bit too.
