1.) I bought one satchet of the chicken soup today (thats all I dared get after the last time I tried it!), I am going to use pepper, but instead of chilli flakes, could we use tabasco sauce instead or is that a big no no???

2.) When can we start to excercise and how much can we do? Read on here not to do too much as we go into starvation (thought we already were!!)and not loose any weight-dont w, but want to move things along a bit quicker and tone up. Have got some yoga and pilates dvd's I got free in the paper, and wander would that be ok to start with?

My advice - don't add anything to the soup - its the best way. Stick to the rules to the letter and you can't go wrong. You are not meant to add anything to it - although some do and get away with it. Tobasco sauce = no no!!

Exercise is entirley up to the individual - if you feel you are ready for some - go for it :)

Ditto what summergurl has said.

I'm only going back to the gym next week when I begin re-feeding, 'cos I heard it may slow weight loss doen.

1: No no no!!

2: We're not in starvation mode because we're taking in the nutrients our body requires in the shakes/soups. Vigorous exercise (aerobics, kick-boxing, running etc.) is discouraged because too many calories will be burned off this way- which will increase the risk of our bodies going into starvation mode (i.e. where it thinks theres a famine because it doesn't have enough nutrients to function properly- so will store everything it can- not burn it off!). Toning exercises are recommended instead, like pilates, yoga, walking, gentle weights etc. as these work the body without a huge calorie burn- yet tone up our wobbly bits.

HTH?

1.) Yuk, will try the soup plain then, didnt think could get away with tabasco, but worth a try!!! Thanks.

2.) Not fussed about excercise, not one of things I enjoy, but I suppose if I am to keep the weight off, need to get into a routine, and thought it may speed up the weight loss, but certainly dont want to slow it down!!!! So thanks for the advice.

I use chilli, don't like it without, and only use a sprinkle! I used to use black pepper until LT told me it was a 'berry'! You learn something new every day... LOL!

Me neither! Though I do try to walk to keep my heart healthy. And I do some free weights when I think of it to tone my upper arms? Not as often as I should though?

Pepper? A Berry?!!!!!!!

Pepper? A Berry?!!!!!!!

Yup!!!

A widely used seasoning ground from the pepper berry. Black pepper is ground from the immature berries. White pepper is ground from the mature berries with the hull removed. Also used whole in pickling.</U></I>

Fank ewe Mr Google
