Is jogging ok?

Before I lost the weight I used to jog but gave it up as I wasn't losing weight. I want to take it up again. Last night I did 15 mins walk/jog on my treadmill and would like to do the same if not more (gentle exercise) every other day.

I feel I have the energy for it!!:party0048:

Hi, hope you don't mind me jumping on the post, but thanks for the advice about the book Sam. I've just been walking briskly for 30 minutes every day for the past 3 weeks, and feel that I might be able to 'up the pace' a bit now without collapsing, but I do want to do it incrementally and safely.

Thanks again.

Hi PennyJane,
After what happened to me on Monday I am warning everyone I see on here talking about exercise - see my post from Monday night - "Exercise didn't go too well".
Was very scary. I felt like I had loads of energy too, but once you have used that up, there is no reserve if you're living on 5-800 cals a day.
Take care. x

I run/walk most days for about 30mins and was doing it before cd too! At one point though I did feel really horrid and started walking with a friend instead. I also walk the dog 2 + miles a day too lol!! but if your body has been used to doing it I can;t see why it would be a problem, just take care and listen to your body! (I ran 50 mins tonight go me!!)
