Hi to all, I've looked into Alli but the side effects were putting me off, but I am coming round to the idea, I am Diet Cheffing at the mo and the chemist thinks Alli will help as his wife does diet Chef and takes alli as well, and her weight loss has improved , was losing 3 - 4lbs a week and the 1st week with alli lost 7lbs this week only lost 4lb but bloody hell thats good.

He is doing a promotion at the mo buy a month and get the 2nd one half price which seems a good bargain. I was thinking of doing the diet chef and the Alli at the same time.

The thing putting me off is the side effects but if i stay within my fat content will I have them??? So what I am asking is how are people finding them so far, and any records on weight loss yet????

Thanx ;)

Hi Shep

Go for it! If you follow the guidelines, you shouldn't have any treatment effects! I've been on Alli for just over a week, and haven't had anything worse than a little extra wind (I can live with that - not sure the OH can). :)

Alli is just the same as Xenical. Just an expensive over the counter alternative. Why dont you see your GP to see if you can get them on prescription.

As long as you have a low fat diet you shouldnt feel any of the side effects. I tried Xenical and have to say it didnt work for me, as the fat in my diet was relatively low to begin with. But good luck

Day 3 for me now and no side effects - except for losing 2lbs :p I'm delighted the real effect it has for me is the motivation NOT to have the side effects therefore I am so careful with my kcals and fat ;)

i dont think alli is as strong as zenical i took them about 3 years ago and side effects was very very bad, watchin a good friend on alli side effects aint that bad?
