Hi all

Does anyone know how often we should be going to the loo (no 2) LOL on this diet.?

I am on week 5 now and started to become constipated about week 3. Last night after 6 days of not going i took a ducolax and after 6 hours nothing so i took another.

Oh my word how i wish i hadnt. Its like rocket fuel and I have never felt so rough in all my life. Been a really crappy day to day and I feel like I have a really bad hangover.

Is there any other way to avoid having to do this? Please someone say there is.
 
One flapjack a day worked for me and I never had to take another senokot.

Also a cup of hot water in the morning is really good for you.
 
My chemist seemed to think I should be going several times every week but I was lucky if I managed once! And I had a flapjack every day! I used to take Fibreclear in every shake to help add fibre. I only took Ducolax once - OMG!!!! Never again!

Another chemist suggested drinking warm water but to be honest it made me feel sick! If you can stomach it then its worth a go.

I go every 3 days or so, no difficulties and dont forget, there is very, very little wastage to get rid of so you can't expect to go every day, anyway. I did buy some dulcolax, just in case, but havent used any.
 
csan I suggest Movicol

Hi to those who have to live through the lazy bowel. I will post this on as a new thread but it will help here. The problem with lipotrim is that is allows us no bulk in out bowel to remind it to move. Taking laxatives only clears away the debris but Movicol is a bulking agent and will definetly get you moving. I had got to the stagewhere I did not even have bowel sounds, silence, nada, kaput, asleep. GP suggested Movicol, chemist rang Lipotrim who said it was ok and hey presto the engine started moving again. So keep this in mind
 
I go almost every day, but put it down to all the coffee, which i put in shakes as well as drinking! (decaff of course) Even had to take some immodium yesterday! Coffee is a diuretic and can have laxative effects so worth trying and just keep up the water intake! xxx
