Hello!
My name is Hollie, or Hols... I'm twenty and weigh just over 15 and a half stone, at 5 foot six.
I've tried dieting so many times, and I've always given up, but I've made the decsion that I really need to do this now.
I'm starting university in September, in a new city, and I really need a fresh start, and given my weight is always the thing that brings me down, it's the thing i've decided to finally tackle.
My doctor is being completely unhelpful, and I just don't know where else to turn for help and support, or which diets might be best for me.
I start university at the end of September, and I really want to lose between three and four stone over the next five months. Which, I realise is a huge target...
I've tried weight watchers, and in all honesty because my confidence is so low, I just don't feel comfortable discussing my weight in front of so many people. I realise that sounds really silly given I'm now talking about it on a forum! But somehow because it's not face to face, it seems easier.
I've started cutting out fatty foods, take aways and snacks like crisps and chocolate, and i'm trying to cut out ready meals, but buying fresh produce on a really tiny food budget is proving really difficult! Any help, tips or advice would be so greatly appreciated - I need to make a change, I just don't know the best way of going about it!
