just a quick question. went to see my cdc today and she put me ss+ so i have to have 200 ml of skimmed milk. do i have to have it? and what difference will it make if i don't? thanks x x

Hi Charlotte k,

I can understand your question and why your asking,
but I feel you should be asking your CDC as she is the one who as read your Medical record form and come to a decision for your step of SS+.

I can answer the question for you but that would undermine your CDC.

Be brave and ask her the question we dont bite, as counsellors we have chosen to help other people on their weight loss journey. Give her the chance to help you.

Im gonna finish by wishing you all the best at losing weight xx :):):):p

I see your point Alan, I really do - but some CD counsellors are more approachable than others. Also, some people don't want to bother their CDCs with questions on bank holiday weekends...

IMHO, you could get away with not having the skimmed milk if you really don't want it. Then you'd just be having 4 packs a day - which isn't really much different to being on Sole Source. But I'm guessing that your CDC put you on SS+ because she felt you might do better having a few extra calories, at least to start with.

See how it goes. It is handy having the milk because at least you can put it in tea and coffee. But if you don't normally have milk, it might be worth discussing with your CDC whether to switch to the other version of SS+ where you have 3 CD packets and a 200 calorie meal.

Welcome to the wonderful world of CD-ing, hun.
