Hi, when I went to the GP and mentioned about my dizziness, the first thing she asked was if I was drinking coffee. Aparantly, if you have caffeine when you are on such a restricted calorie diet, the caffeine can turn to glucose in your blood stream, making it harder to combat cravings etc, so if you are feeling hungry and you are having caffeine, try switching to decaf :)

yes this is very true.

That's why on the atkins they advise that you can have caffeine as long as you can tolerate it and it doesn't increase your cravings.

If anyone is having cravings, it may be due to your caffeine intake.

AAHH, thats good to know. thanks. i might experiment and see if I lose more without cafine. come to think of it, I do get hungry every so often although Im pretty sure Im not out of ketosis.
 
I cant wait to get off the caffine!!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

My (ex) husbands (feels weird writing that!) friend also said caffine gives you cellulite, not sure how true it is, but another reason to change to de-caf!!
