Are they any good?

My friend has just brought me four packs into work cos we don't have a morrisons near to where I live so I am stocking up!!

Also, was thinking of making a sausage casserole with one pack!

Any recipe ideas?

I get a friend to get them for me too - I really like them, I have made sausage casserole, sausages in red onion gravy, scotch eggs, I cook them & have them cold for lunch some days too

I think they're great, especially since they are syn free and a lot cheaper than Joe's sausages.

Sometimes they can get a bit too crispy when you grill them, but a spray of fry-light can sort that out.

We tend to have the chicken & sausage hot pot (see the recipes folder for details, or the one pot SW cookbook), sliced up cooked sausage in pasta (with passata and ratatouille), or just with mash and beans (or gravy).

Happy cooking!

Yeah, we use the morrisons sausages as well although, so far, we just have them with mash.
I prefer the cumberland ones, which aren't free but have so few syns in them that they might as well be!

I think there fab and the cumberland ones are my fave! .. Make sure they say diet on the pack though otherwise all the rest have syn values.. only EAT SMART DIET sausages are free.. from the deli area.. not frozen either.

I use them all of the time, infact I just had them in the chicken and sausage hotpot that's in one of the recipe books from class....delish! :)

Aren't the cumberland ones 1 syn each?

Hey all,

I'd thought they were free too, but it is just the plan pork ones that are syn free!

I love the morrisons eat smart sausages, they are surprisingly succulent for being a free food :D

Just had 4 of these with mash, mushrooms and gravy! Mmmmmmm...

I love these sausages, the morrisons by me only has them occaisionaly so when they've got them I must look like a mad woman buying in bulk!!

I love these also in the nimble white bread as a HEb, with a syn or 2 of tomato sauce, and maybe some grilled bacon shoved in with a fry light fried egg maybe too, tastes like a REAL breakfast sarnie then :D
