is pepper ok in the chicken soup!!

im on my 2nd week and am having the soup at my families evening meal time.. is pepper ok to use? someone says its not...i also ate a raw slice of carrot by habbit... is it ok? us new ones hey!

Oh and well done for getting to week 2 !

As far as I am aware the pepper is ok, as with chilli powder I think, not sure as I couldnt stomach the soup, but I think I have read on her pepper is ok.

As for the carrott Im not sure, not sure if it will take u out of ketosis (or prevent you from going in to it depending on how far u r)

carrot is fairly high in carb content,, around 10g per whole carrot... so I wouldnt recommend it atall as a little bit could be enough to take youout of ketosis.. there are good carb guides on google if yu do slip up.. I have always had lashings of pepper and chilli powder in my soups, couldnt do it otherwise....x

read the bag you get and follow it to the tea why risk it if its not on there ie carrot then dont eat it your best of just being totely strict on it your get better results people say its ok to put pepper on but where on lipotrim site does it say you can do this personally i can only do the choc drink and its all ive been doing for 4 weeks now yeaz its hard but omg the feeling iam getting from lossing this weight is made it so worth the few months of my 14 year bad eating life to be totely comited to this diet good luck it gets better

Pepper is fine in the soup, to be honest I couldn't eat it without plenty! :) I used to add plenty at the start before blending as opposed to adding it after, otherwise I found it didn't mix too well.

I asked LT directly about this and their reply was not to add ANYTHING (sweeteners, cinnamon, pepper, chili etc.) to the shakes/soups.

Their reason for not 'allowing' pepper is that it's made from a berry, and that could knock you out of ketosis. I have stopped using it now and just add a little chili flakes- just as nice, spicy with a little 'kick'! LOL!

Hmmm - goes back to my comment elsewhere that there doesn't seem to be any consistency in information...my chemist said it was no problem and it didn't affect my losses.

I know! My chemist said pepper was fine too!

A slice of carrot??? :nono: Please, do not pick anything...you will only be preventing yourself from getting the best results from LT. The past in is the past, now move on and succeed!

The pepper is fine hun and chilli flakes is a must as it takes the horrible taste away. I wouldnt worry too much about the carrot as I do it myself but to be on the safe side try to take yourself out of the habit of eating anthing other than your three shakes a day.
