Hi im just wondering if any one has considered taking Alli with dis diet?
And what would be the pro's and con's

never ever take that pill...havent you ever read the side effects????

Never heard of it...but will take Kels advice and not even look at it ! Bit sad today, my hubbies friends wife took her own life yesterday leaving behind a loving husband and two kids...very sad my heart is broken for them but her as well as she was not getting the right professional support...I speak from experience I was very very lucky to have a very understanding and supportive Gp, unfortunatly they are not all like this.

I would implore any of you who know of anyone suffering from depression, or if you suffer yourself...please ask for help it is there and if you don't get help from the first person you try please keep trying...nothing is worth taking your own life...the pain you leave behind is unbearable .

Sorry for rant, just needed to get that off my chest.

aww god dee that is absolutely awful.. i really dont know what to say.

how old are the kiddies?

why would anyone take those pills...you couldn't leave the house in case you had an accident, in fact you should just spend all day sitting on the loo :D Reading that actually cheered me up its so ridiculous....don't agree with any form of diet pills myself!

you used to be able to get them from the docs i think you still can a friend of mine took them and she did lose weight but you have to stick to a very low fat diet as the side effects kick in if you dont , any way she took them for about 3mths with no problems till we went for a night out and she wanted a keebab as you do when you have had a few and i dont think she left the bathroon for 2 days after lol she rang me and said theres oil in the loo and it wont go ive flushed and flushed and its still there i thought it was sooo funny but her family were all for leaveing home

Sorry to hear that Dee sucide is a very difficult thing to deal with for all involved. You are right about GP's I work in mental health services and we come into contact with GP's all the time and at least half of them either don't believe in mental health problems at all or just dole out pills and nothing else. A voluntary organisation that we deal with a lot is SOBS which the family may find of help and support. It will do doubt be to early at the moment but when they feel ready its a really valuable service.

Hope you're ok hun x

Thanks for that curvygirl...I will keep that in mind for them, they are definatly going to need some help down the road. I have had my own mental health issues over the last few years, but thankfully I am one of the lucky ones my GP was very supportive from the beginning and my family have been my rock.
