My pharmacy didnt order the shakes for me and I have to wait a few days before I can start LT again. I just got into the swing of things. The pharmacist has advised me not to eat any carbs until then.

PS: I lost 9 pounds.

Omg thats annoying!!!

I remember my chemist didnt order them on time and I had to go back up again the next day (my chemist was 30 mins away) I was soo annoyed lol!!

well done on your loss

go to the lipotrim website ther will be a list of pharmaceys neer you that stock it ring them check its in and go to them if you can

can't you try a different chemist?

By the time I got to the next one it would have closed because I have to get the bus. Im extremely annoyed about this to be honest, the lady I spoke to had no clue what was going on as she wasnt the lipotrim consultant. I have to juggle going for these appointments with university lectures so I couldnt have gone earlier :(

try a differnt chemist 2moro then that might work

That's appalling!!!!!!!!!! (sp?) Hope you get sorted!! x

Well done on your loss hun! 9lbs is brilliant! As for the shakes...yeah try and get to your nearest chemist and if not then make sure you stick to proteins for the next few days :) xx

I had a good cry on the phone to my mother. She was very proud of my loss, she is my biggest form of support and I am so upset being far away from her and going through this stage. I decided to follow the maintenance program but without the carbs. I have saved the two shakes I have remaining for breakfast tomorrow and breakfast for wednesday. In the meantime I am on salads, steamed veg, fish and tomatoes. I am counting calories so no meal is over 100 calories. I feel sick eating but I cant starve because I dont want to slow my metabolism, but I am not going to touch carbs at all. I am a carb addict, if I have a slice of toast, I might as well kiss goodbye LT. Now i am off to do 20 minutes on my cross trainer and 20 minutes on my bike. I am not going to lose determination.

I will ring up the Truro chemist to find out if they have any spare shakes, but I doubt they will give me any because the paperwork is with the Falmouth chemist.

Under the circumstances you could ask the chemists to ring each other .... I can't get over how unprofessional they are! Nobody in there can have ever actually done this!! x

I was shocked because no one advised me about ordering anything. I rang them three times regarding the diet before I even started. They confirmed that it was okay for me to start and I didnt have to do anything. Arent we supposed to have urine tests as well? I didnt have that either. The lady didnt even know that she was supposed to check my weight, I had to remind her. She had some spare sachets, but she wouldnt part with them. I wanted to swap my choc shake for a chicken soup, she wouldnt even let me do that.

Guys, im so scared im going to put on weight. I have only eaten protein. No oil, no fat, no salt, but I am petrified.

I don't know anyone who has to order in advance....

I'm sorry but I don't like the sound of this chemist - I know it might be difficult but would you consider going to one further away and perhaps only going once a fortnight if it was difficult to get to? Just a thought. x

Maybe LT need telling about them too! x

Honey please try not to stress about it...you'll make yourself feel so much worse. If you stick to what you've told us your going to have im positive you will be absolutely fine xx

ohh yeah..my mother rang and complained to the pharmacy after I had a moan. I didnt have the energy to say anything to the consultant at the time because I was too overwhelmed at that point. First of all it takes ages to get used to the diet and accept that there is no food involved, you go through a whole process changing a mindset in a week, your body doesnt know what on earth is hitting it and then just as you settle, you hit a brick wall. I even asked her about ALLI and if I could take it temporarily, she wouldnt even let me do that! LT are definately getting a call tomorrow, they need to know who they are delegating their services to. And yes, I will speak to the Truro pharmacy and possibly transfer for my next WI. I am supposed to be on the cross trainer now lol

I will definately stick to it. I emptied my fridge so I have no other food except for what I told you guys about lol. I nearly broke down in Tesco because I didnt want to eat anything lol (just being a stroppy baby..) Thank you for your kind words :)

I know exactly how your feeling. I was told by the doc after 4 weeks straight on the diet, that i had to come off for a few days so she could do some tests on me. Was horrible..i just hated it. Felt like i was ruining everything. But...i stuck to exactly the sorts of things you have for a whole week and i didn't gain anything at all. In fact over that week and the following week i lost weight.

Think of it as a good sign, that you know even more now that you truly want to do the diet and see it through to your goal weight. So the moment you can get back on those shakes you will :) i do have to agree with Jan though, is there any way you could transfer to another chemist? Are there any others near by?xx

The nearest is a half hour drive away, but I dont drive. I have to get the bus. I will sort something out. However, I dont think they will be making the same mistake again lol my mother is quite stern..she fought my battle for me because I was too busy feeling like a lost sheep.

As for the food, I am not touching carbs, no chance. The food is soo filling. Im counting the calories strictly so I know its not more than 100 per meal. And you're right..LT is for me. I dont even miss food to be honest. Im glad I have gone through this, I know I will be more dedicated to it now.
