Hey guys this is a really great forum and just what i needed seeing as slimming world don't have one, let me introduce myself first!

I'm anna i'm currently a full-time student studying Nursing. I've been overweight my whole life; purely out of sheer laziness- and it's just got too much for me and i guess slimming world gave me the flexibility to enjoy my food whilst have some support at group!

I've been really good all week except today, I *TRIED* to make the curry in the extra easy book (the diet i'm following) and used what said 'low fat natural yoghurt' when in actual fact it's very low fat natural yoghurt thats a free food- and what i used was worth 5.5 syns taking me to 19.5 syns :(

I feel a bit confused, it's only my third day on it, and although i'm eating the free foods- i'm eating like a pig! Loads of pasta, tuna..chicken etc lol I don't know if i'm going to loose weight and this knock back with the syns has really made me feel bad!

Does anyone else get days like this? I want to loose weight, i've never fully dieted before but i feel right on this diet

Hi Anna and welcome :)

This is the great thing about the SW diet, you never go hungry! If it's free....it's free, so enjoy :) Ok, so you've had a over syn, we all do it. I would just lower my syns for the next day to compensate. It won't affect you much hun so don't panic.

I'm sure you'll do great at weigh in, and stick at it. Everyone on here and their results is without doubt proof that if you want to really do it, you will. :)

Lol I think I will have less- i just can't believe that it works, how can you eat so much food and still loose weight???!!!?!! My friends can't believe it so i'll guess i see on the weigh in on tuesday! I think i need to have more of the super foods though, i'm just living on jacket potatoes lol
 
I have done EE for 13 weeks now, and have lost 2 stone on it. I eat like an absolute PIG!!! No one can believe that I am losing so much when they see what I eat.

I do eat quite a lot of speed food, and have veg soup every lunchtime, which I think helps.

As it says on the plan, the fastest way to lose is to eat 1/3 superfree, so your veg, fruit, quorn, VLF yogs and FF.

As for the syns, don't worry, it just happens that way sometimes.
Hit the speed foods if it makes you feel better, and reduce syns a little if you like.

I did the same yesterday, read something in the book, ate it and when I checked the syns online it didnt apply to that product! Gutted wasn't the word but will just cut down over the week. Yesterday was my first day after WI so still had 70 - 105 to play with! (luckily!)
