STRUGGLING

Don't be too down - I've just looked at your signature, and out of 14 weeks, you've only gained in 3 of them! That's 11 weeks where you've lost weight - absolutely brilliant - would you have achieved that without SW?

Everyone gets bored and fed up sometimes - you just need to try and understand why you're now wanting to snack (are you eating enough?). As soon as you can, try and draw a line under this week and get back on plan - we're all happy to give our ideas and advice... you just need to ask.

Good luck - the first step has definitely been telling all of us you're having a bad time of it!

I notice that your gains are every 3 or 4 weeks after you marked your * week - I wonder if that is causing a load of water retention ... indeed, week 3 is also in this pattern and is a much smaller loss than the weeks around it. It could be that the TOTM is 'telling' you to snack - if this is the case, it might be easier to prepare for it next time ..

Please try not to feel disappointed in yourself, you have had a great weight loss, and a blip here or there is just that - only a blip, not a failure - just try and take it one day at a time - have lots of 'allowed' snacks at the ready, and try to remember why you started this journey - it might give you the motivation you need to get yourself back on track.

take care xx

This is such a valid point! How good is it that for 11 weeks you have lost weight and your gains come off again the week after so it's not like your letting them knock you off plan!

Have you written a 'pros and cons' list for not losing weight? If not then maybe try it... I can bet there will only one pro and that will be you can eat all you like without having to worry!

Also how about joining one of the teams in their monthly challenge? Or the 1st of July Challenge? Nothing like a bit of competition to keep you on track!

Don' t feel down. be proud of what you have already achieved.
Snacking is fine, it's what you snack on that makes the difference, try to have SW "friendly" snacks in the house, not just fruit or yogs, but low-syn foods and try to have some low-syn meals so if you want a "sugar-fix" you can without the guilt.
