is fybogel ok to use for number two proplems lol

just wanted to check it was ok to use as its what the pharmeses gave me to take but not herd of anyone taking it on here cheers for aNY respons

I'm not entirely sure but I think some here have taken the 'original' flavoured stuff. You'd need to check again tho because there's so much talk of laxatives on this forum that I don't know which witch is which anymore lol

Fibregel is a preventative rather than a laxative so don't take it if you have problems as it can make it worse.

Laxatives shouldn't be taken regularly, but preventatives can be taken daily without a problem

So...if you are bunged up, take senokot to unplug it , then use fibregel/fibreclear/fibresure/psyllium husks etc to prevent it happening again

Stick to the original fibregel though

BTW, people often mention using ducolax on here to removed offending stuff Just a warning, ducolax is a bit too strong to use when on any VLCD. Senokot is safer

Well, have to say I don't have any trouble with my number 2's, but only "empty" every 3 days or so....but I have got a packet of Dulcolax just in case.....will probably go out of date before I need them!

Fibreclear can be bought from your chemist and doesnt interfere with ketosis but i think fibreclear does I was told this by my chemist anyway
