If you've got the current issue of the SW magazine, there's a section on pasta dishes, and in there is a recipe for Spinach & Ricotta Pasta. It's so simple to make, and free on green/extra easy (as long as you count the ricotta as a HexA - otherwise it's 6 syns per serving) and it's very tasty!! And super filling too. Just thought I'd give you a head's up if you're thinking of trying a new recipe. This is a good'un!

I've never tried ricotta! What's it like? I like spinach though and love love LOVE pasta!!

Yes, it's in the current issue.

Tigerlily, Ricotta cheese is a soft Italian whey cheese, quite sweet (not sugary sweet, just in that sweet creamy flavour). It's not a savoury cheese so lends itself well to other flavours. You'll find it where they stock marscapone cheese.

I also had this last week and completely agree that it was so simple and completely gorgeous!! We are having it again this week! I added some chicken in and that worked really well.

Do try it... You will love it!

Would you believe I got the spinach but forgot the ricotta when I went shopping! That was with a list The real McCoy from Italian delis is out of this world. Sadly I have to get the tubs.
