yes i know only on 2nd day but cant believe im making things that all the family are enjoying before with ww i was cooking seperate things for me and the rest of the family

I've just got back into SW after farting around for a while and feel the same. The tea I made tonight the kids wolfed down which is just fantastic, I am normally lazy and just make something quick like pasta n sauce but then get bored of eating the same things and give up!

Great isn't it? We're having home made chicken tikka massala with brown rice tonight. I only had to syn the ground almonds and LF creme fraiche. (should have been double cream) I used my olive oil as a HEB. (I'm doing extra easy) Not like being on a diet at all!

have you got the recipe for the chicken tika masala sounds divine:D

I crave chocolate still and I've been doing it for 4 months now! I love the vanilla mullerlight yog with dark choc shavings in it, I usually have it with raspberries and cinnamon. It's lovely, and I suprisingly enough feel naughty having it. Also, I've found that when I'm craving choc it's usually just an energy thing and so syn myself a sugar in my cuppa. Works for me and hope it helps :D

P.S Not a crisps person, so can't help with that one I'm afraid.

thanks kerry i had some fruit with a yoghurt and it was ok the thing is i have only used my 10 sins the nite that was on a couple wee martinis so wed thurs i didnt use them but i think im kind of scared to in case i have a pkt of crisps say and cant stop thats my usual pattern
and this site is helping i am proud that evert time ive felt like in sweetie drawer ive came on here im in house myself the night and havent picked lesleyx

Hi candyspill, I know what you mean re starting and not stopping! I've been saying no to the mountain of chocolate we have in the house for that reason.
Do use your syns though, even if you use them on sauces etc.

I was given some very good advice on here a while ago re syns. This is a plan for life, so make sure you enjoy your 5-15 syns a day as if you ever did need to cut back on something when you're getting near target, if you've not been using your syns, there will be nothing to cut back on, whereas if you've been using 15 syns, you can cut back to 10 etc. It also makes the plan even more fun!

I find I use mine on wine, olive oil (occasionally) pesto, ketchup, and treats like a take away.

If you're craving crisps, how about making some SW chips? Not exactly the same, but savoury and much more satisfying ;)

After being on SW for over four weeks now, I've found that if I'm hungry, instead of chocolate or biscuits, I'm thinking about which fruit to have. My need for bad stuff has greatly reduced and I know that I can still have chocolate occasionally if I include it in my syns. However, I was starting to really miss cakes, so I tried the curly wurly cake last night and it just hit the spot. By making sure that I always have very good things around to eat, I don't have any excuses to eat the bad things. I have a teenage son, so there's plenty of chocolate, biscuits and crisps in the house, but I don't touch them. I can even break up an easter egg for my younger son without stealing any but I still can't believe that I can do that. I just hope that I can still be like this a few more months into this diet.
