Hi, just found this site today so having a good look around.

I was always one of the skinny ones at school but after my first child I started putting on a lot of weight. It took over a year for the docs to diagnose I was hypothyroid. I started of my second pregnancy 2lbs heavier than when I was at full term with my first. It took a further 18 months before i stabilized and stopped putting weight on. however losing weight just doesn't seem to want to happen. I want to read how others have got on with their diets and see which look like they will fit in with my lifestyle before deciding which one i'll try.

Hi there....I relate to all you are saying! I have four children and basically gained a bit more weight with each of them. I also have an underactive thyroid and take 150 mcg of thyroxin every day (and have since my early teens). I also find it REALLY hard to lose weight - especially because I am always preparing food for the kids. I have always gone to the gym at least 3 times a week and don't eat too badly (although I think I drink too much wine!). BUT I have lost 15 lbs in the past 3 weeks on Lighter Life Lite - which is like some kind of miracle to me. I still want to lose at least another 2 stone (3 stone lighter would put me back at my pre-children weight) but for the first time in a long time actually think I might be able to do it!
