Starting on monday

Hi i've been for an introduction meeting today and I'm keen to start LLL but my counsellor wont start me till monday is there any way i can get my body into ketosis over the weekend.

welcome, cut out carbohydrates and cut down your fat and dairy intake, that will make it easier when you start on monday
 
Mmm you can stop eating bread, potatoes, starchy/sugary vegetables... but you probably won't go into ketosis just by doing this... it's a combination of a bunch of things.. but by cutting out the carbs over the weekend you will make the ketosis stage come a lot quicker and the transition will feel easier.

Also - cut out alcohol - or at least the high carb ones like beer and wine. (no wine has been the hard part for me!)
