Would you want to be in the SW mag at target?

I've been looking at some of the Before and After pics on here and there are amazing results! Would (or have) any of you target members thought about being one of the SW success stories?

I'd love to get to target and get preened for a day!! ;)

OMG I can think of few things worse lol

My WW leader said when I get to goal shes going to let WW Mag know and contact all the mags that feature these kind of articles.

Over my dead body she will lol

NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS

No!!!!
I wouldn't want all my neighbours and family to know just how badly I had let myself go!!

Oh blimey, that is such a good point. Everyone knowing how much you'd weighed at the start. It is funny, everyone can see us and the size we are, but I still feel sick at the thought of telling people. I'd never ever tell my partner.

I can tell you lot I started at 24st 9lb, but i'm bu**ered if I want all my neighbours etc to know!

Now this is a tricky one..... my consultant gave me a form to fill out with all the blurb to send off to the magazine but I never did it!
It would be lovely to be in it and they make everyone look so gorgeous but I don't think I could cope with it tbh.....
They must get so many sent in though, how do they pick?

So, yes, I think I would love it but I don't think i'd ever send my details in!

Oh go on Jaylou!! Do it! Do it! ;)

I'm not sure. I keep thinking when I get to target I might have some profeesional pole pictures done, but be in a national mag? I'm not sure.

YES! I'd do it but like Couteaux said, really only for the preening and photo shoot!

I don't mind telling people how much I weigh now or weighed before I started SW... which is weird to say but I'm not ashamed - I knew I'd let myself go and those around me probably did too but were too kind to say anything!

I think they must choose who goes in the SW mag depending upon:
how old you are
where you live
your weight loss (obviosuly!)
how long its taken you to get to target
how long you have maintained your target weight

For a long time I thought (and pleaaaaase don't anyone take offence) that they were focusing a bit *too* much on people who had lost an extreme amount of weight... then over the last 2 or 3 issues I've noticed they've included people who've had a more modest amount of weight to lose which has been good because it seems a bit unfair to always focus on one type of demographic...

I'd love it! As long as they airbrushed out a few of my wrinkles! My photo is being plastered all over our hospital rehab leaflet! Hopefully I can tell everyone that I've left when I get to target!

I'd love it! My Consultant has suggested it to me a few times. Doubt I'd get picked though, they must get hundreds of applicants.

I'd most definitely do it! We should be proud of our achievements and lets face it, these stories and target members in the mags inspire us, so it's our turn to inspire others! :)

I was in the magazine and it was great fun, but the article could have been written a little better......After I was in, I got loadsa phonecalls from newspapers like the SUN, but turned them down......I now work in radio so I'm glad I did x

Not in a million years BUT I would like to be 'Gokked' in private so I know what now suits me so I don't waste money buying unsuitable styles - I would love to do that

It's sometimes what I use to motivate myself... I try to imagine my success story being on the cover of the magazine. I know when I look at the before and after pics, and read the stories, I feel so pleased for them and am amazed at how much healthier and younger they look. I love for that to be me! And if it could provide a little inspiration for others along the way... bonus! :)

I'm glad it isn't just me that does that!! I've tried other plans in the past, Paul McKenna, Marissa Peer etc and a really big thing was visualization of your success. So, I find myself picturing myself at target, being in the magazine. lol :D

omg yesssssssss i would be strutting my stuff in a bikini lol

We should be proud of our achievements

I second that!

When I look in the magazine and see the before and after photos I never really linger on the befores... I'm always gawking at the afters thinking how stunning they look and how great it will be when I will think the same about myself!

I would love to be in the magazine and let people know how far I'd come to reach target and maintain!
