Day 2...

Hi all,

I'm a newbie, on day 2 of SS and feeling fine so far! I'm a re-starter really, as I tried CD for 2 weeks (I know, rubbish will power) last year, but it has made me even more determined to stick at it this time!

Think I might be in ketosis already as my breath is stinky and have a funny taste in my mouth - what do you think? Too early?

Anyway, I have been lurking for the last two days reading everyone's posts, and I wanted to say thank you to you all for your motivating stories. Everyone is so supportive of each other, it's lovely!

Can't wait til I have been here for a few weeks!

I'm new to the CD too but it sounds like you are in ketosis to me!

Good luck for the rest of your first week! Def the hardest. xx
 
Could well be in ketosis! Did you cut down on carbs before starting? I was in ketosis on day 3 and I cut down on carbs before starting which is why I think it happened quickly.

Keep going with the diet, the results are great, and are motivating in themself.

Forget about the 1st time, just enjoy your journey & the exciting time ahead! I'm on day 2 as well xx

Stick with it and you will see the weight dropping off..

Thanks everyone - finding it much easier now! It's still hard but I think my mind is adjusting to the fact that I can't eat real food.

Really hating the taste in my mouth though! Looking forward to Monday for my first WI, hopefully that will keep me going!

To check your in ketosis lick your hand (or a friend) let it dry and then sniff it. If its rank your in Ketosis.

Alternatively go for a wee and give it a sniff if it stinks (worse than usual) your in.
