Planning what shakes to have & water flavourings

Hi All,

I have a little routine where I plan out what shakes/tetra's/bars I will have every day for the next week when I get a weeks supply. Does anyone else do this or do you just pick & choose as you go along?

Altho saying I plan them out, occasionally I will swap the order in the day that I have them planned for.

Also I have orange & berry water flavourings which I got around November time (or if not a bit before) before I had to stop CD when I whacked my head. I tried them the other day and they still taste fine but I am worried that they will be harmful now as it says on the tub to consume within 6 weeks of opening which I am way over now.

don't see how it could be harmful. If its a "best before" it just the quality of the product, so might taste a bit ropey but won't kill you.

I know which shakes I like, so just buy a mix to see me through the week and see what I feel like that day
 
So far I've been planning.. eg favourite flavour last in the day.. but only two days in, who know's what'll happen??!...

...funny though, that I'm organised and planning now, and yet I've always envied people who can plan their week's meals so that they don't just binge on anything that passes by! Maybe this is a good habit to get into so that I can get more into it when I'm in maintainance (in, oh, 11 weeks and 5 days! :D)

I have put my order in this week by e-mail becasue I am in a hurry. Usually I just buy what I fancy on the day. Go more for shakes than soups, don't buy the bars and I don't like Tetra's.

I have a drinks flavouring which went out of date in October 2008. I have just found it in the back of my drawer at work this afternoon and it tasted just fine. Don't see how it can go out of date - its only powder.
 
I usually plan to have my favourite flavours (porridge and choccy mint) during work to help me manage the day... if I get any yucky flavors I leave them for the weekend where I can manage the diet better and am less stressed!

You know what I do that too! Glad I am not the only one.
 
I like to plan for the day what I am having too, it gives you something to look forward to. Speaking of which my CDC was supposed to bring me some orange water flavouring on Monday and forgot! I hope she remembers next week along with my first bars. Something else I'm looking forward to :gimi:
 
I love both the orange and berry water flavourings. definately help with the water consumption! Although i have always drunk water so I don't have a problem with it anyway.
