Help please

just had my wk 5 WI, only lost 1.1lb :-(

i cant believe it, i have been 100% SS no cheating or anything, drinking loads and only 1.1lbs

now i know that i am just finishing TOTM, but i have cycled, been really active and am just so disappointed.

anyone else felt like this?

Thanks

Tracy

Tracy, I am only on week 1 so haven't been there (yet) but I can only say look at your overall weight loss rather than just this weeks - 24lbs in 5 weeks is fantastic! You will most likely have a huge loss next week so don't despair and don't give up, just keep going and look forward to a massive weight loss next week. This HAS to work so just trust it.

Get out some clothes that are now too big for you and remind yourself of what you have achieved.

Sending you a hug!

Hi Tracy, seems we have both lost the same amount of weight in the same amount of time! I too was a tad miffed at 'only' losing a pound in week 5, and was my totm too, but like gracey says, 24lbs in 5 weeks is bloomin FAB! I don't think we would have done it on any other diet, and we're 24lbs lighter than we were just over a month (yep that's all it is!!!) ago! Keep going love, we can do this! xx

24lbs in 5 weeks is almost 5lbs a week!!

In terms of weight loss, that's tanking it, hun! There's no way you'd have lost so much in 5 weeks on any other diet, now is there?

Don't look at the weekly loss. Look at the bigger picture. You're doing fab!

I just had my first meeting with CD counsellor after doing 6 months on and off with lipotrim and loosing 4 stone.Have gained about a stone since xmas, so back on track till the rest of the fat stuff has gone. You guys have all done great.lets hope i can follow suit.

Hi Izzy - I agree with everyone else - look at the total loss. I've done exactly the same as you 24lbs in 5 weeks and it's not to be sniffed at. Only 4lbs to go until we've lost 2 stone - and who knows that could be next week or the week after, either way, it's pretty good going. Well done to you!

1lb is still a loss, and look how well you have done in such a short time! You are doing brilliantly, so don't feel down hearted. x

Thanks everyone,

I keep telling myself look at the bigger picture, but when you stick to something 100% it is really disheartening.

On a brighter note, i did go through my wardrobe and donate to charity/wheelie bin 5 black sacks of old clothes!

my OH has promised to take me to Lakeside and buy me a new wardrobe when i get to goal - now that's the incentive i was lacking! lol
