Gonna be slim again
Hi guys
I have been told to make an appointment with my doctor to take a glucose test!
Which involves fasting for 12 hours without food (Mmmm! That could be hard!..Not) but the real issue is i have to drink a load of lucozade! AAhhhh!!! i dont know what to do!
Should i try and just put it off for 6 weeks or what? did think about buy diet iron brew and substituting it for that!!!:D

Any advice!

Jack your health is more important, and the diet will always be there, get yourself right, and then you can throw yourself into it whole heartedly, and wont have any unecessary worries slowing you down!

Have to agree with Lauren about this Jack.

Your health is much more important.

Let us know how you get on.

Do as your doc tells you, that's what I think. You could get straight back on the diet after anyway. Hope all is OK and good luck.

You will know the reasons why your Doctor wants you to take the glucose test. Have a word with him and see if it can wait a few weeks, but if not, then follow your Doctors orders Jack, he knows best.

Oh poor you Jack, that's a bugger!
He must be checking you out for diabetes. Does he know that you're on LT?
If you've had glucose in the urine, or on a random blood sample, they order this test to check properly. You could try asking him if it could wait, but I'd take his advice really.
The irony is, Type II diabetes can be brought on by being overweight, and you're addressing that by doing LT.!!
Your health is the most precious thing you have, so have a good think and see if you can have an appointment to discuss it with him. The drink would bring you out of ketosis, but you could climb back on the next day.
I'd go for the test and see what the result is. Good luck Hun.xxxx

yep your all right! i was just so annoyed and gutted! Annoyed that he might say i have diabetes! all because of my weight!

But even if he does that might not mean anything long term so try to stay positive. It might change the way you have to lose your weight but your weight loss may ultimately get rid of the diabetes so try stay positive :0)

If you are diagnoses have a look at Diabetes UK.. fantastic resource and website and wil help with weight loss
