rice and noodles

Hi

Is any rice is free on Extra Easy? Our microwave just blew up so we can't make the Uncle Ben's or Tilda's microwave rice anymore. Is batchelor's rice free?

Also - are Amoy straight to wok noodles free?

I am joining SW tomorrow after work so probably wont have so many questions by then!

Thanks

I know the batchelors savoury rices are all free, not sure about the noodles. The plain dried ones are free though, and the low fat super noodles.

wow that seems too good to be true! i am used to doing weight watchers and the batchelors rice was sort of high in points on that plan.

The straight to wok noodles do have a small syn value (on green/extra easy), but it varies according to which variety you choose.

If your'e doing red days, they have high syn values.

I have lost 2 stone in 12 weeks, and that is on EE. I have done one red day in the whole time (But didn't get on with it) and I do one green day each week, but apart from that it has been EE all the way.

What I like most is I rarely use syns on "normal" food (eg on pasta or meat) so I can have a treat every day and still stay well under my syns. That's how I manage a mini bag of malteasers every day... yum!!!

At my class, it seems to be working for those who have just started and gone straight on EE, but most of those who are trying it after doing red/green are struggling a little with it.

One lady had STS for 3 weeks, tried EE for 2 weeks and lost 1lb the first and 2lb the second, so she was pleased!

Thanks.

I lost over 3 stone with weight watchers but I have plateaued at the weight I am at now (10.12) and been 3lbs over or below that for 2 years now. I get down to about 10.7 then start getting lazy and eating junk again. I tried to start ww again but just couldnt get into it so I thought I would give SW a go. Hopefully I will be OK on EE!

Hiya,

The amoy 'straight to wok' noodles are between 1 and 3 syns per pouch on green or extra easy depending which ones you pick.

I find there's a lot of people who question EE - why?! Overall, in a week, I think I probably eat the same foods as people on Red/Green days but just mixed up in a different order! It seems to work in my group for those who've tried it, but a lot of the Red/Green stalwarts don't like only having one HExA and HExB each day (mostly those who want cereal and a sandwich each day).

I've about halfway to my target now with EE, and think it's brill! Any questions, let us know!
