Hi everyone.

I have been reading the forum for a while and i have decided i need to something about my weight as iam really unhappy about it.

I have few questions i would like to ask hope everyone can help.

Everytime i start a diet i last for a few days then go back to my normal ways of eating junk, Iam also going on holiday in june and would like to lose a much as i can i know its not alot of time to lose much but it can be a start.

Iam looking to go to the gym 4 or 5 times a week so hopefully i will stick to that but its the eating side of it i seem to lose i just cant seem to stick to the diet.

Iam not exactly all clude up on which food i should eat so any advice would be great.

Iam currently 18st and looking to get to about 12st that is my goal but in the meantime i would like to lose about 2st for my holiday in june is that to much to ask in such a short space of time.

Thanks for takeing your time reading my post.

Good luck to everyone on there weight loss quest.

Hi Stevie - you have so many options, if you want to learn to eat healthily I would recommend Slimming World - are you able to get to a class near you? It really is a healthy eating plan and will re-educate you. Weight loss tends to be 2lbs a week if you stick to the plan, though in the first few weeks people lose around 3 or 4 lbs. Also with the regular exercise you are doing you could lose 3lbs a week, especially when your weight is still high. 2 stone in 3 months is definately feasible.

I personally am following the Cambridge Diet, which is a much more drastic option.

Hope this helps, you have taken the first step in incorporating exercise into your life, and now wanting to address your eating is a really positive step, well done.

Have a look at the slimming world site, see what you think and if this isn't for you there are loads of other options.

no not yet iam not sure what one would be the best do you have any advice.

Hi Stevie, you need to get your head around what you want to do, once you've decided you are motivated, choose the plan you think you could stick too.
