Had a lovely Day.....

The OH and me went for a walk to Brimham Rocks near Harrogate ... then we went onto Knaresborugh for another walk.. We did about 9miles in total .. The weather was beautiful and I was quite chuffed at myself for completing both walks, as I am not exactly the fittest of people (although I am working on it(. I'm now sitting here shattered but feeling very contented with life. It is amazing how good you can feel after a bit of exercise, even if I wont be able to move tomorrow..lol

OH is now talking of going for another long walk tomorrow, I know he is only trying to help get me fit, but he doesnt seem to understand the word "moderation"..lol

We are going camping in June to Settle, so not far from there I believe. I can't wait to be out in the fresh air!

I cant wait til my fortieth next february when we are going up to Hawes in Yorkshire. Children will be old enough now to do those lovely walks. Before we had the kids we used to go up one weekend a month to this beautiful area but havent been for several years now. We have seen all weathers in this super area, even thigh deep snow and worked through so many holiday cottages in many of the villages in this beautiful part of the world!

I went to Drayton Manor yesterday from 10.15am and left at 5.25pm! So did a fair bit of walking myself too I am reallt chuffed with what I acheived yesterday, I took a 'Green' Day packed lunch and the only thing I bought was a bottle of 7up Zero the whole time I was there. Saintly or what :lol: xx

Hi H. I have never done the camping thing, I like my creature comforts too much ans the OH hates creepy crawlies lol, but my daughter loves it and has a camping trip planned for June but for the life of me I cant remember where she is going.
Kerry you definatly had a fun sounding day, its great when the kids a little as you get loads of exercise without even realising it.
Hi Princess I have never been to Hawes, I must look it up and go and explore.
Sarahand molly - I wish i had thought of a packed lunch instead had to wait until I got back home for something to eat, but I had a late breakfast so it was not too bad.
When im off out now - not sure where to its a case of get in the car and drive and see where we end up.
